LA Times Festival of Books Sunday Day 2
Sought out James Ellroy, Diana Paxson, Lisa Scottoline early. Managed to get a ticket for Eric Carle, then saw Amber Benson, but missed Laura Numeroff. Found Ian McDonald, T.C. Boyle, & Paul Feig, but not Henry Winkler. Saw Francescia Lia Block but missed S.E. Hinton. Did catch Jon Scieszka but missed Michael Hague.
The Comix Strip which they made much of in the paper and online was quite disapointing, there were only 4 good booths, and 2 of them should have been over in the book section.

Purchased some old, and some leather, books.
Another purchase of a stack of more recent classics.
Pile of trades, from which we could only take a few things.
434 pieces spam email from yesterday - not counting the junkmail that isn't actual spam.
Finished packing the online orders... finally.

Amanda was here.
3 boxes of mmpbs shelved.
A large collection of Lawrence Block, and Martha Grimes mysteries shelved.
8 boxes of mmpbs sorted.
Several large batches of trades, from which not a whole lot was taken, but a few good things.
The back corner flooded, the unit next door must have over flowed something, we can't figure out what, and the water seeped under the wall and got the carpet all wet, and the Reptile store too.

Skipped out for a bit to get the IRS extension stamped.
Google street view: We're way back in the corner on the right, this must have been done around xmas time 2008.

Shelved some Signed mass market paperbacks, Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle, Dennis Etchison.
Culled a few boxes, shelved a few hardcover books. Put a stack on the $1.00 carts.

Renewed AT&T phone & DSL, tried to get a hold of datavo but it they won't even return calls for new service, suspect if there was a problem they'd be worse.

2nd Anniversary of A Castle of Books!
Another batch of online orders packed, and now finally caught up.
Diamond Comics shipment arrived: including Pac-Man energy Drinks!
Managed to get the new tax into the register without too much problem.
Some end of the month accounting. Looks like it picked up very slightly last month.
Coming down with a cold... bleah.
Purchased 3 post 1939 Oz books, and few other old/Leather books.
