Endpapers from life poses by the famous comedians, Montgomery & Stone.(front endpage detached). The hinges (the inside portion of the flexible fold where book cover meets the book spine) are split (loose or open) and the webbing shows through, the cover is still attached by the joint (the exterior flexible fold where book cover meets book spine). 287 pages. Box on page four is 5 3/8 inches. title page detached. pencil names on tp & reverse of ffly. 15 of the 16 Color Plates: tip stood the figure up and admired it (partial detached); the boy stretched himself upon the grass (well attached); it's the fashion here said the soldier (well attached); don't you believe her your majesty cried jack (well attached); the saw-horse rocked and rolled over the fields (partially detached); the stranger removed his hat with a flourish (well attached); the mice hide themselves in the scarecrow's straw (detached with some wear to outer edge); seated within the throne was general jinjur (slightly detached); this cast a gloom over the entire party (slightly detached); the gump soared swiftly and majestically away (well attached); his axe fairly flashed among the jackdaws (slightly detached); glinda searches the records (detached and worn at outer edge); the tin woodsman plucks the rose (detached and worn at outer edge); the griffin sprang through the wall of the tent (well attached); the scarecrow as royal treasurer (well attached). shaken. tear to spine case around the word 'land' but not detached.
